The Phoenix New Times has reported that a 24 year old man has been arrested in a fatal DUI car accident Saturday morning. The accused, Andre Jeremy Wilkinson was driving his pickup in the early hours when he slammed into the rear end of a car stopped at a red light. Mr. Wilkinson was speeding and didn't even hit the brakes before colliding into the other car. The driver of the car died after the accident, which had crushed the rear end of his car. Mr. Wilkinson was given an alcohol test and measured .227 blood alcohol concentration level, almost three times the legal limit.
He gave the police a false name but was eventually tracked down through his fingerprints. The police want to charge him with manslaughter and aggravated assault.
