A deadly car accident killed three in Phoenix, azcentral reports. The accident occurred over the weekend. The driver that allegedly caused the accident has been charged with three charges of manslaughter. One of the deceased was the passenger in his car. It is reported that the driver at fault may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol and this is under further investigation. The driver's injuries were minor.
The accident occured near Lower Buckeye Road and 91st Avenue in Maricopa at about 6:30 a.m. The car that was hit in the collision had an older woman and a child in the vehicle, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene. There was one other passenger in the car who was taken to local hospital with critical injuries.
