An Arizona news source reported that three individuals were seriously injured on Monday by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 17. The wrong-way driver was killed as well as the driver of one of the vehicles hit.
Several others were also injured in the accident, but not critically.
Officials say they do not know why the man was driving the wrong way and that they may not know until they receive autopsy results.
