Azcentral.com reported the news that an approximately 12-year-old boy was struck and killed by a semi truck on Monday night at around 8:00 pm. According to reports, the young boy was on his skateboard in the middle of the road and somehow fell under the truck's tires. The boy was taken immediately to the hospital, but later died due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities are still conducting their investigation on the accident and have said that alcohol, drugs and driver speed are not factors in this situation.
